Terms & conditions

These terms apply to all services provided by PlusOne Studios ("PlusOne", "we", "us") to a client ("you"). By accepting a quote, proposal or invoice, or by paying for our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

We provide social media management, content creation, video, photography, graphic design, email marketing, advertising management and website design. The exact deliverables, schedule and price for your work are set out in your proposal, quote or monthly package.

2. Prices and payment

• All prices are in South African rand (ZAR).
• Monthly retainers are invoiced once a month. Once-off projects are quoted separately and may require a deposit before work starts.
• Invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date by EFT or by card through our online payment provider.
• We may pause work on accounts that are more than 14 days overdue until payment is received.
• Advertising budgets (for example Meta ads) are paid by you, either directly to the platform or as a separate line on your invoice, and are not part of our fee.

3. Term of retainers

Retainers run month to month unless your proposal states a minimum term. Where a minimum term applies, the retainer continues month to month after it ends until either party gives notice as set out in our refunds and cancellations policy.

4. Approvals and content

• We share content for approval through your client portal or another agreed channel. Content not approved or commented on within 48 hours may be treated as approved so that your schedule is kept.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you give us, including prices, product details and promotions.
• You confirm you have the right to any logos, images, music or material you supply to us.

5. Access to your accounts

To manage your channels we may need access to your social media, advertising or website accounts. You remain the owner of these accounts. We use the access only to deliver our services and you may remove it at any time.

6. Ownership and use of work

Once you have paid in full, you may use the final content we deliver for your business. We keep ownership of raw footage, project files and unused material unless agreed otherwise in writing. We may show work we made for you in our portfolio and on our own channels unless you ask us not to.

7. Results

We work to grow your reach, engagement and enquiries and we report honestly on results every month. Because platforms and audiences change, we cannot guarantee specific numbers of followers, views, sales or leads.

8. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the month before the claim arose. We are not responsible for losses caused by third-party platforms, outages, account restrictions or changes made by those platforms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown above.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
